I'm finding color inspiration in this beautiful moment captured in the golden hour. The sun was starting to set on this October day and the autumn colors were gorgeous, but then the golden light amped everything up just a bit- and the entire valley glowed around this bull elk. It was glorious and perfect and magical and one of my favorite days of 2023. The Smoky Mountains are one of my favorite places on earth, for reasons like this. Everywhere you look, there's something ancient and precious and utterly beautiful. I hope you're having a great Tuesday. I'm back in the studio today and I'm SO happy about it.
